Andie has a plan and she always sticks to the plan. Future? A top tier medical school. Dad? Avoid as much as possible (which isn't that hard considering he's a Congressman and never around). Friends? Palmer, Bri, and Toby - pretty much the most awesome people on the planet, who needs anyone else? Relationships? No one's worth more than three weeks. So it's no surprise she's got her summer all planned out too. Until a political scandal cancels her summer pre-med internship, and lands both her and Dad back in the same house for the first time in years. Suddenly she's doing things that aren't Andie at all - working as a dog walker, doing an epic scavenger hunt with her dad and maybe, just maybe, letting the super cute Clark in closer than expected. Palmer, Bri and Toby tell her to embrace all the chaos, but here's the thing ...can she?

I give it - 5/5
My review - You know what I love? Dogs. You know what else I love? Summer romance books. So combining the two would make a really fantastic book and that is exactly what Morgan has written with THE UNEXPECTED EVERYTHING.
I love Morgan's books so I was really happy when I got a copy of this in the post and I was not disappointed at all. In this story we follow Andie. She was meant to be working at John Hopkins for the Summer but then because of reasons, her plan falls through and she desperately needs to get a part time job for the Summer to have on her resume. So she decides to take a job as dog walker. She's never owned a dog or taken care of one but with a little training she get's the hang of it and she also gets a client, a cute guy named Clark who wants her to walk his dog each day. There's sparks between the two of these but they are both dealing with a lot of things. Andie doesn't really have a relationship with her father and Clark is having trouble with finishing his book and other things.
This story is a lot more than find love. It's about friendship and family. Coming to terms with things that have happened in the past or are going to happen and having to deal with the consequences but Andie knows she's got Clark.
That's what I love about Morgans books. They're not just about love but about family and friends relationships and it really adds to the story.
I also have to add that I grinned like a fool when I read that there is a dog in this book called Jasper as I have a dog called Jasper.
I think this is my favourite book by Morgan so far. It is so fun, and I loved that some pages will be from Clark's book, it really added something to the story which just made it more addicting. As with all her books, I read this in one sitting, as once the dogs and Clark came into it I couldn't put it down. I really liked Andie, she tried her hardest but sometimes you just need to let people know how you feel and not have it bottled up, and sometimes protecting your friends is not always the best thing to do.
I would also love some books from her friends. Especially Toby and Bri! It would be great to read about their lives and what happens to them after certain events. Plus, keeping up with Andie and Clark would be nice.
All in all, this is the perfect summer read and if you haven't read a book by Morgan before then I suggest starting with this as it was just so fun, gripping and filled with a lot of magic and love...and dogs, cannot forget the dogs.
