Lexi Angelo has grown up helping her dad with his events business. She likes to stay behind the scenes, planning and organizing...until author Aidan Green - messy haired and annoyingly arrogant - arrives unannounced at the first event of the year. Then Lexi's life is thrown into disarray. In a flurry of late-night conversations, mixed messages and butterflies, Lexi discovers that some things can't be planned. Things like falling in love...

My review

I give it - 5/5

My review - I love, love, love this book! It was so fun and cute and just the best.

In this book we follow Lexi. Her father does conventions a few times a year and she helps out at them. At one convention she meets Aidan. Aidan is a new author and Lexi gets a proof of the book and instantly falls in love with the book. But, the author name is different and she can't believe it's Aidan and that is where it all starts.

Lexi is currently in sixth form and loves working at the conventions with her father and friends and getting to meet Aidan makes her feel things. Feelings that she is trying to push back but every meeting with Aidan, every email and phonecall make the feelings stronger but with his book selling fast and a movie in the works can they make it work? Or will they just carry on meeting at conventions? But first, can Lexi even tell Aidan how she feels?

I love the friendship in this book. I love Sam she was an amazing character. I like the slow burn between Aidan and Lexi. How, even though, they don't see each other as much as they want too they always have a laugh. A lot of banter and of course some arguments (that made me just want to give them both a big hug) and I want more from these characters.

This book is a lot more than falling in love at a convention. It's about Lexi finding herself. Finding what she wants to do with her life and it was just perfect.

I also loved that at the end of the book there was a chapter from Aidans book and ohmygosh I wish it was real.(Just saying Maggie)

If you are looking for a brilliant book about conventions, friendships, relationships and a lot of cute moments this is the book for you. It's so wonderful and even through the arguments I still had a smile on my face as I adore these characters.
